Hei cha’s health benefits

Hei Cha has been known in Chinese culture as nourishing teas (养身茶) for a long time, especially in the areas of lowering blood sugar and cholesterol levels and assist in weight loss.
The main bio-active compounds identified include:
- Especially high level of tea polysaccharides (much higher than other categories of teas such as green tea and white tea), believed to lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels, prevent cancer and anti-inflammatory.
- Certain Amino acids with potentials for vision improvement and regulating certain hormones.
- Tea Polyphenols – powerful natural anti-oxidants.
- The “golden flower” fungus Eurotium cristatum exists in premium Fu Bricks and Qian-Liang-Cha, together with their metabolic products have been studied and reported for being especially effective at lowering blood cholesterol and sugar levels, and reducing body fat deposit.
